Head of Commercial

Reporting to the Director this new Commercial Manager role is an outstanding opportunity to drive and implement growth strategies and positive commercial outcomes across a wide range of venues primarily in the sports and entertainment industry segments. 

You will be ultimately responsible for managing strategically high value clients and stakeholders. A principal focus will be the attainment of major new national and international sports and entertainment events across our network of venues.  

Your brief is to proactively source alternatively long-term sustainable revenue streams such as digital advertising and corporate partnerships.

Oversee and optimise commercial return whilst establishing collaborative relationships and negotiating contracts.

Scope, plan and execute strategic revenue initiatives to achieve strategic financial outcomes.

Conduct market research and case analysis to improve patron experience and commercial outcomes

As well as having strong staff management experience, you will be flexible, commercially astute and be a strategic thinker who is seeking that next career step in a fast paced and changing environment.

Auckland Stadiums was formed in 2012 and is a business unit within Regional Facilities Auckland. Our core objective is to transform the region's stadium landscape into sustainable, world-class and fit-for-purpose facilities whilst delivering iconic sporting and music events.

Currently we directly manage, operate and promote Mt Smart Stadium, QBE Stadium​​ and Western Springs Stadium.

New Plymouth DC - Ticketing Coordinator

Position: 
Ticketing Coordinator

The New Plymouth District Council Venues and Events team is seeking an experienced Ticketing Coordinator who will lead the team in providing a sensational service.You would be based at TSB Showplace but you and your team also provide services to TSB Bowl of Brooklands, Yarrow Stadium and TSB Stadium, including physically setting up systems and box office requirements at those sites.

This position is very busy with the day to day box office duties and providing services for all shows and events at NPDC venues.

This role is responsible for interpreting client needs, managing the technical equipment and personnel resources required for an event, then overseeing the quality setup and operation of equipment and services.

Experience in reporting to a board would also be advantageous.
