EVANZ would like to thank all the sponsors of the 2018 EVANZ Awards. With their generous support, our Awards would not be possible.
Vidcom join us as sponsor of the Supreme Venue Awards this year. Luc Jorieux, General Manager of Vidcom NZ, says "Venues are pivotal in the event industry as they cater for all sizes of events and budget. EVANZ is a key forum for venue operators to share, engage and exchange on the issues, challenges and opportunities. Vidcom are thrilled to be associated with the EVANZ Awards and supporting the venue industry. Our company has been associated with a number of high profile venues for a number of years and we are delighted to be able to support EVANZ."
Vidcom is also very excited to showcase the technical possibilities of Eden Park on the Awards evening. "This venue is iconic and special to most New Zealanders", says Jorieux. "This amazing venue has a state of the art technology offering with large crisp and bright visual displays, versatile and engaging lighting and crispy clear great sound systems. The Vidcom team is looking forward to showing all EVANZ attendees the possibilities this great venue can offer and emulate."
Other new Awards sponsors this year include Medium Venue of the Year sponsor Sidekicker, an on-demand staffing platform that allows businesses to hire staff at the click of a button, and event and venue management software provider Ungerboeck Software International, who will be the sponsor of the Rising Star award. “We are delighted to welcome Ungerboeck as a sponsor of this important award”, says EVANZ President Keith Parker. “Our industry relies on exceptional people and it’s so important to recognise and foster the talent in the industry. We are heartened to see an industry partner like Ungerboeck showing its support of our future industry leaders.”
Creating a data-driven audience development strategy for your organisation
EVANZ and the Performing Arts Network of New Zealand (PANNZ) are proudly collaborating to offer a free audience development workshop. It is difficult to get any traction as venues if we don’t understand our audiences or know how to gather data successfully. Stephanie Richardson from PANNZ will lead a workshop on how to achieve success using customer data, and how to apply those learnings to develop a strategy. The workshop will include a discussion around how data is currently being used and Stephanie will present case studies, including learnings from New Zealand touring, and from the Australia Council for the Arts Marketing, Communications and Ticketing Summit recently held in Sydney. We will then apply that thinking as we walk through an audience development strategy template.
Please register your interest by emailing admin@evanz.co.nz with the number of attendees and the name of your organisation.
We hope to see you there!
