New Zealand Symphony Orchestra

The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra is this country’s national full-size, full-time professional orchestra. One of the world’s oldest national symphony orchestras, they have been delighting audiences with memorable concerts and recordings for 68 years.

The NZSO is continually on the road, touring New Zealand. You’ll hear them on radio, television, in movies, and on CD. You can download their music and keep up with them on Facebook and Twitter. The NZSO’s extensive Community and Education programmes take their music to children and young people up and down New Zealand, giving them a chance to get up close and personal with the players and inspiring them towards a life-long love of music.

Recognised internationally for their world-class performances, artistic strength and musical depth continues to flourish at the NZSO. Enjoy the excitement and drama of New Zealand’s elite orchestral musicians as they display their talent and prodigious skill in your national orchestra, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
