SPARK ARENA DUA LIPA SCHOLARSHIP

SCHOLARSHIP Date: 2 to 3 nOVEMBER 2022

Mark Gosling and the team at Spark Arena and Live Nation are offering the opportunity to be part of the action as they deliver a sold out concert with Dua Lipa. This is an excellent opportunity for managers or staff from other EVANZ member venues to learn and observe processes and systems put in place by Spark Arena.

What's Involved:

• Recipients must be available to attend the event inAuckland from Tuesday 2 November to Wednesday 3 November
  

• EVANZ will contribute up to $250 per recipient to assist with accommodation or travel costs.
  

• Recipients must be available to deliver a presentation about their experience at the EVANZ end of year Conference in Wellington in November.
  

To Apply: please complete and submit the online application form. Please note:

• You will need to include a summary of your career history and future goals (max 150 words);
  

• You will need to upload a letter of recommendation from your employer or venue manager.
  

Terms and Conditions:

• One person will be awarded the scholarship.  Any EVANZ member venue can apply. 
  

• The scholarship must be taken on the specified date in August 2022.
• A member venue can apply on behalf of one staff member only.
  
• The scholarship is not transferable to another person from the same venue or any other venue.
  
• The successful applicants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. EVANZ will subsidise these costs with a grant of up to $250 per scholarship recipient. 
  
• The successful applicant must prepare a written report at the conclusion of the Scholarship, to be submitted to Spark Arena and EVANZ. The applicant will be required to present this report at the end of year Conference in Wellington.
  

REVIEW PANEL:

The review panel will consist of one representative from Spark Arena and the EVANZ Board Learning & Development Sub Committee members . Review Panel decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Successful applicants will be advised in writing by Friday 19 August 2022.
