    Spark Arena is a 12,000-seat arena for sports and entertainment events located in Auckland, New Zealand.     The Role

    We're currently searching for an Events Coordinator (permanent, full time) to join our Spark Arena Theatre team!

    The role will have ticketing as an important function including builds and liaison with Ticketmaster. As the  coordinator, you will also have your own portfolio of events working with the hirer, ensuring all information is gathered and communicated as part of the event planning and delivery function.

    Key things you’ll be doing day to day:

    Ticketing Management

    • Initial client liaison for all event build and AutoCAD drawings
    • Manage all on sale requirements for the client by working with our ticketing agent (Ticketmaster) to create event on TM1
    • Actively monitor event ticket sales and amend sales plans accordingly
    • Coordinate event on sale marketing with the venue Marketing Dept
    • Ensures that all events are placed on-sale in a manner that maximizes ticket sales opportunities
    • Acting as the key point of contact for the hirer on event day, dealing with all events and ticketing enquires
    • Liaising with Ticketmaster regarding ticketing, sightlines, and patron complaint 
    • Daily monitoring and reporting of ticket sales and map building utilising TM1 software

    Event Coordination

    • Assist in the management and implementation of events at Spark Arena
    • Being the initial client liaison for all FOH requirements and managing all event FOH requirements for clients, patrons and contractors
    • Ensuring FOH presentation and set up meets Spark Arena standards 
    • Being responsible for FOH staffing including, ushers, reception / cloakroom / information / medical, security, cleaning and the briefing of staff pre-event
    • Liaising with various other Spark Arena departments to ensure all event requirements are met
    • Ensuring all public information systems are displaying accurate information for each event, including screens, announcements and signage
    • Ensuring that casual staff supervisor’s operational folders are prepared, event schedules, running sheets, ticket sale maps, incident report forms,  emergency response procedures 
    • Abiding by all relevant legislation, NZ Standards, codes of practice and company policies and procedures always. 
    • Post show assessments and feedback to the Event Manager
    • Ensuring all event administration is captured, including all post event reporting
