    He angitūtanga: The opportunity 

    The Venue Services Administrator is responsible for administrative support to the Operations department, focused predominantly on the Visitor Experience and Event Planning teams, and also including support to the Food and Beverage, Catering, and other teams as required.

    You will be a central hub and owner for administration, information and support across these teams, providing support in an effective and timely manner and to the highest standard.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Provide administrative support for the life cycle of employees, including recruitment, onboarding and termination.
    • Support for all training requirements, including maintaining records, and administering learning systems
    • Maintain the Admin Event Services inbox, provide general support for office requirements, and oversee the Lost Property process
    • Provide event planning administrative support, including technical requirements, maintaining records, tracking financials, raising purchase orders, and reporting
    • Plan, deliver and monitor hostings and internal events, and provide support to the Event Planning team during planning of complex events
    • Contribute to development and maintenance of manuals, systems, policies and procedures across the Operations department.

    You will be passionate about events, and have previous demonstrated experience in administration, with entry-level event experience an advantage. 

    This is a busy and varied role and will suit an experienced administrator who is capable of managing their workload in an efficient and effective manner. You will be able to manage multiple priorities, have excellent time management skills and be able to work to deadlines. You will be organised, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and well-developed computer skills.

    You will be excited to work in a flexible and collaborative culture, have the ability to manage and build relationships with staff of any age and background, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
