We are looking to appoint a CAD Operator provide clear and accurate drawings of Te Pae Christchurch event bookings spaces.
As the CAD Operator, you will be working alongside the Te Pae Christchurch Business Development and Event Planning teams to produce CAD designed floor plans.

Key Duties:

Produce CAD drawings for new event bookings.

Review event room design layouts to find and resolve problems.

Create product and hire equipment templates.

Read and understand 2D and 3D drawings.

Make corrections to the external event booking drawings as requested.

Provide alternative design concepts to meet customer requirements.

Create and update the Ungerboeck database of design records for future reference purposes.

Assist the wider Te Pae Christchurch team in CAD drawing and designing tasks.
About you:
-
Have at least two years’ experience in a similar role.

Have knowledge and understanding of event venue room specifications and event hire products and design.

Have current working knowledge of the convention and exhibition industry.

Can work with minimal external assistance.

Able to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders to achieve advantageous outcomes.

Able to think strategically, with an analytical and creative approach to problem-solving.
Applicants must have New Zealand or permanent residency.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a criminal history check.
