    Baycourt Community & Arts Centre (as part of the Tauranga City Council whānau) is on the hunt for an amazing Visitor Experience Manager to join our never-a-dull-moment team. This role is a crucial member of the team, managing and delivering exceptional visitor experiences through the provision of front of house and hospitality functions, and membership services.

    Some of the nuts and bolts of the role will include:

    • Managing a team of casual event staff
    • Developing and implementing initiatives and training programmes that continuously improve the quality and efficiency of front of house, hospitality and customer services
    • Maximising return visitation and food and beverage revenue opportunities
    • Managing venue presentation
    • Being part of an awesome team!

    So, what will it take to stand out from the crowd?

    • A genuine desire to put the customer/visitor at the heart of what you do
    • Events/arts/venue management degree, diploma or equivalent industry experience of three to five years with a focus on customer service and/or hospitality services.
    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • An eye for detail
    • Cool under pressure and legit problem-solving skills
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • A love of all things arts and culture-y!
