    Key responsibilities of this role with New Plymouth EventVenues include:
    • Event Planning: to successfully deliver clients event requirements whilst providing sound direction and information to get the best possible outcome for all
    • Assist with the operation of venues and equipment to ensure a safe and secure environment and to meet customer expectations and contractual requirements
    • Actively ensure that legislative requirements and Council policies and procedures are fulfilled, particularly in relation to all key relevant legislation
    • To be 2IC of the venue if Lead is absent.
    • Rostering event requirements to ensure that each event is covered – while working directly with the Senior Events and Operations Coordinator to ensure that all events at all venues are adequately covered
    • To hand over detailed event plans to operations officers to deliver. (run sheets, maps, floor plans etc)
    • Oversee venues maintenance to ensure the venue is presented to a high standard
