We are seeking a passionate and experienced Events Organiser to join our team in New Plymouth. In this role, you will be instrumental in planning, coordinating, and delivering exceptional events across New Plymouth. Your primary focus will be on the Summer and Winter Festival of Lights, but you will also support a wide range of other events hosted by the NPDC Venues Team.

Key responsibilities    

• Undertake the creative development, planning/coordination and valuation of events.
• Actively ensure that legislative requirements and Council policies and procedures are fulfilled, particularly in relation to all key relevant legislation

Essential skills and experience

• Relevant qualification and/or experience in event management.
• Cultural sector experience desirable.
