ILT Stadium Southland is on the hunt for a dynamic, hands-on leader to oversee the daily operations, facility, and strategic management of our premier venue. What You’ll Do:

As the Facilities & Operations Manager and part of the Stadium’s Senior Leadership Team, you’ll be at the heart of ILT Stadium Southland’s success. You’ll lead a talented team, manage the Stadium’s assets, and ensure every event—from major concerts to community activities—runs smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver for our community: Oversee the Stadium’s operations, ensuring everything works seamlessly.
• Lead the Team: Manage and motivate a talented operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Facility Management: Keep our infrastructure, equipment, and facilities in top-notch condition through proactive asset management and lifecycle planning.
• Safety First: Champion health and safety compliance to ensure a safe environment for staff, contractors, and guests.
• Drive Efficiency: Manage operational budgets, contracts, and suppliers to optimise performance and seek cost savings.
• Stakeholder Champion: Build great relationships with tenants, contractors, councils, and community partners, ensuring top-notch client service. 

About You:

We’re looking for a proactive, can-do leader with:

• Solid experience in facility management, project management, operations and events—preferably in a large venue or facility.  A construction background is advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
• Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and reporting.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to keeping everyone safe.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
• A “can-do” attitude—happy to get on the tools and lead by example, preferably with strong building knowledge.
