The Health and Safety Advisor - Event Operations plays a key role in ensuring the safe delivery of all Venues Ōtautahi events, working alongside our workforce, contractors, and clients. This role provides operational health and safety advice and support in dynamic, non-routine and high-risk event environments and supports VŌ to meet its legal obligations.
Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety and Risk, this influential and hands-on role is responsible for driving a strong Health and Safety culture and overseeing all health and safety protocols and procedures for VŌ events.
Flexibility is essential, as the position operates within a seven-day event schedule and may include shift work, evenings, and weekends to support a wide range of events across our venue portfolio.
