The organisation
The Trusts Arena (TTA) was opened in 2004 to provide Waitakere and now the wider Auckland community with a multi- purpose facility for the hosting of sporting, leisure, trade and cultural events.
TTA is a charitable Trust which operates under a founding document, the Charter, which sets out its community objectives. Since it opened the TTA has held a funding and service agreement with firstly the Waitakere City Council and currently Auckland Unlimited on behalf of Auckland Council.
The primary community users include the founding partners the Waitakere Rugby and Athletics Clubs, Waitakere West Auckland Basketball Incorporated, Auckland Roller Derby, Auckland Waitakere Artistic Roller Skating and Touch New Zealand.
Over the 17-year history TTA has grown in scope and currently is one of the most visited venues in Auckland with a team highly skilled at delivering both community benefits and commercial outcomes.
