Auckland Live and Conventions presents events across Auckland's major performing arts venues and stadiums - Aotea Centre, Auckland Town Hall, The Civic, Aotea Square, Bruce Mason Centre, Mt Smart Stadium, QBE Stadium, Western Springs Stadium, Shed 10, Cloud Queens Wharf and The Viaduct Events Centre.

The Event Supervisor role supervises in a permanent capacity the operations of Front of House, Food and Beverage and Aotea Square and to support the overall delivery of events for Tataki Auckland Unlimited.

Our ideal applicant comes with the following:
- Strong communication skills and ability to build a rapport with staff and patrons from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Allocates time efficiently and meets deadlines
- Strong knowledge of front of house, food and beverage and event operations within the events industry
- A committed approach to service excellence and a strong customer focus
- Experience providing supervision in a group environment. (ideally in skill-based coaching as this role will deliver training to casual staff)
- Competent working with a PC, Microsoft applications and good keyboard skills
- High standard of grooming and presentation.

This is an opportunity to work with a highly engaged and motivated team, with the role working rostered shifts over 7 days which will include nights, weekends, and public holidays, dependent on the events we are holding. The role is paid hourly with a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight
