    Do you have a passion for the sports & event industry?

    We are seeking a motivated and passionate person to join our team at Pulman Arena in Takanini, South Auckland.

    Our outstanding facilities are geared towards sport, recreational, leisure & community excellence at all levels, and encompass world-class sports grounds and facilities over 64 hectares of spacious park surroundings.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with the operations team to support on-site management and set up of sports tournaments, conferences and community events across multiple facilities on the Park
    • Oversee the operation of the arena – lighting, security, curtains, access control, ventilation, etc.
    • Assist in the end to end management of events ensuring a seamless customer experience   
    • Compliance with health and safety standards & the park's operating policies.
    • Work with a variety of groups including, community, clubs, RSO’s, NSO’s, contractors and tenants
    • Foster & enhance the park’s values and culture

    Skills & Experience:

    • You will need to be physically fit to set up for different sports & events.
    • Experience in how sports tournaments/events operate would be an advantage.
    • You will have first-class interpersonal skills to be able to interact with key people of sports clubs/organisations daily
    • You will be solution focused, and be able to think quickly on your feet
    • NZ Full Driver’s License required.

    Due to the nature of the events and sports industry you will need to be flexible to work on a roster that includes regular evening and weekend work.
